Are You Looking for a Contractor Capable of Handling the Additional Work for Your Project?
A paving or excavation project often involves additional work: grading existing asphalt, leveling the ground, installing curbs, or delivering aggregate. PLL brings together these specialized services in Sherbrooke and the Eastern Townships under a single team, to avoid having multiple contractors on your job site.

PLL has spent over 40 years refining its methods, expanding its teams, and adding new skills to its repertoire.
Our Other Services
Asphalt Planing (scarification)

Asphalt planing, or scarification, involves removing a layer of the existing pavement to allow for a stronger bond when laying a new layer. By creating a gap between the surface joint and the underlying layer, the bond is strengthened, and an adequate pavement thickness is ensured without exceeding the existing level. Our scarifiers can also pulverize the in-place asphalt for reuse as base material, or correct localized irregularities such as bumps in the pavement.
- Stronger connection to the existing surface thanks to the offset of the surface joints
- Correction of irregularities: bumps, excess thickness, or improper levels
- Pulverization of existing asphalt for reuse as a base
Leveling

Uneven ground compromises drainage, accelerates asphalt degradation, and creates areas where water accumulates. Leveling performed by PLL prepares the surface, whether it is pavement, a slab, or an outdoor landscape.
- Correction of slopes and areas of subsidence
- Site preparation for paving, construction, or landscaping
- Residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and municipal projects
Curb Installation

Curbs define and stabilize your asphalt surfaces while reducing the slope of adjacent embankments. Without them, the edges gradually erode due to traffic and weather cycles. To ensure their strength and appearance, curbs must be backed up to a height exceeding their own. PLL installs new asphalt curbs along the edges of parking lots, driveways, and traffic lanes.
- Installation of new curbs on residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and municipal properties
- Stabilization of curbs to prevent lateral erosion
- Seamless integration with existing or future paving work
Material Delivery

Aggregates, crushed stone, sand, gravel—PLL delivers the materials needed for your construction or landscaping projects in Magog, Windsor, and throughout the Eastern Townships. A direct service, with no middlemen, coordinated with your project schedule.
- Delivery of aggregates and backfill materials
- Coordination with other phases of the project
- Availability for residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and municipal projects
Recycled asphalt

Recycled asphalt is recovered from construction site asphalt debris and reused as a surface or base material. It is a more cost-effective option than new asphalt, ideal for certain applications where budget is a priority. Note: Recycled asphalt hardens again over time, which should be taken into account depending on the intended use.
- Recovery and reuse of asphalt from construction sites
- A cost-effective option compared to new asphalt
- Preferred depending on the type of project and intended use
Catch Basin Repair

A poorly positioned or sunken catch basin impedes surface water drainage and can accelerate the deterioration of the surrounding asphalt. PLL adjusts the catch basin head to ensure effective water drainage and preserve the integrity of your asphalt surface.
- Adjustment of the drain head to surface level
- Improved surface water drainage
- Targeted repair without having to redo the entire surface
Roll-compacted concrete is installed using a paver, just like asphalt, allowing large areas to be covered at a lower cost than traditional concrete. Highly resistant to heavy loads, RCC is particularly well-suited for areas with heavy machinery and truck traffic, such as factory yards, industrial driveways, and loading areas.
- Paved using a paver over large areas
- Lower cost than traditional concrete
- High resistance to heavy loads and heavy traffic
